Physicians, under the Chief Executive Officer&rsquo;s supervision, in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer and clinical/front support team, provide extraordinary patient care through BHA Clinics.</span></p><h2><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\"><u>GENERAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS</u></span></h2><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\">Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine from an accredited medical school. &nbsp;Board certified within 2 years of completion of residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.</span></p><h2><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\"><u>ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS</u></span></h2><ul><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\">Clear and active Florida Medical&nbsp;License</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\">Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)&nbsp;License</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\">3 years of experience as a practicing physician&nbsp;preferred; experience in a primary health care environment, community health center or Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)&nbsp;preferred</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\">Current BLS/CPR or comparable training completed through licensure or certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\">Proficient in Electronic Medical Records&nbsp;(EMR)</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\">Demonstrates strong oral and written communication&nbsp;skills</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\">Extensive knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and ailments. Prescribes or administers treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or&nbsp;prevent illness, disease, or&nbsp;injury.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\">Provides oversight of delivery of medical care at the assigned clinic BHA with the support of&nbsp;the Clinical Manager and Executive clinical team.
