We provide wet and dry utility installations utilizing trenchless technologies to complete projects for Departments of Transportation, Federal and State agencies, local municipalities, sewer and water districts as well as private development organizations. The Foreman is responsible for leading the jobsite and crew to ensure the job is completed safely, accurately and on time.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #222222\">Primary Duties and Responsibilities include</span></span><span style=\"color: #222222\">:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Take instructions for daily tasks from the Superintendent.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and forklifts.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Operate auger boring equipment, experience operating TBM, MTBM and Pipe Ram is considered a plus.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Lead Safety and Toolbox meetings with crew</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Ensure all work plans and JHA’s are covered before tasks are started.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Complete daily log of work performed.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to ensure specifications are met.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Supervise crew members.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Perform safety inspections of work area.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Train personnel as needed.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Out-of-State travel may be required up to 30%.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li>The majority of UIT’s work is in the Colorado Front Range area.</li>\n<li>Per diem starting after 75 miles from the Lakewood office. </li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #222222\">Skills and Specifications:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Minimum 5 years’ experience in utility construction.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Ability to take direction from supervision.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Experience with Construction survey</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Welding experience preferred.</span> </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">OSHA training is preferred.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and reliable transportation.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Recognize hazards and safety risks.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Familiar with equipment and tools required for the position.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Work in a standing, sitting, or other physical positions.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Preferred supervisory experience.</span><br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #222222\">Compensation and Benefits:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Compensation $30.00 to $42.00 - DOE</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">3 Medical plans to choose from</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Vision and Dental Plans</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Prescription safety glasses allowance </span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Boot allowance</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Paid Time Off</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">8 paid holidays</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">401k with Company match that is immediately vested.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Company paid short- and long-term disability plans. </span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Company paid life insurance.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>It is the policy of Harrison Western not to discriminate against any employee or any applicant for employment because of age, race, religion, color, disability, sex, physical condition, developmental disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, genetic information or national origin.  This policy shall include, but not be limited to, the following: recruitment and employment, promotion, demotion, transfer, compensation, selection for training including apprenticeship, layoff and termination.  We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
