    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>POSITION OVERVIEW&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Drives truck with capacity of more than 3 tons to transport materials to and from specified destinations.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;</strong>include the following. <strong>Other duties may be assigned.&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Drives truck to destination in a safe and efficient manner.</li><li>Delivers and off-loads material.</li><li>Collects payment for goods delivered and for delivery charges.</li><li>Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations.</li><li>Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.</li><li>Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.&nbsp;</li><li>Cleans inside of truck.</li><li>Performs emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, tire chains, and spark plugs.</li><li>Positions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><ul><li>Must have Hawaii CDL Class A Driver&rsquo;s License</li><li>Detail Oriented</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Must be able to work overtime as needed.</li><li>Applicant must provide a driving abstract and previous CDL A driving experience.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE&nbsp;</strong>&mdash;&nbsp;High School diploma or GED and one to two years&#39; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p><p><strong>MATHEMATICAL SKILLS&nbsp;</strong>&mdash;&nbsp;Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.</p><p><strong>SKILLS/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED&nbsp;</strong>&mdash; Meets all federal and state driver&#39;s license regulations. Must have a Commercial Driver License (CDL A).</p><p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS&nbsp;</strong>&mdash;&nbsp;While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to sit and frequently required to walk and talk or hear.
