This pivotal role drives proactive prevention, manages complex investigations, and ensures strict regulatory compliance for a publicly traded financial institution.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Designs enterprise-wide fraud strategies to monitor channels, identify trends, and refine detection systems.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Configures detection rules to maximize accuracy and counters emerging cyber-fraud and account takeover threats.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Leads internal and external fraud investigations, collects evidence, and manages loss mitigation efforts.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Manages regulatory exams, ensures strict policy adherence, and maintains compliance with SOX, FFIEC, and BSA/AML.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Delivers board-level metrics, updates fraud policies, and recommends enhanced enterprise risk controls.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Partners with teams on risk assessments for new products, fintech integrations, and staff fraud training</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><u>Education and Experience</u></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">College degree preferred.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">5&ndash;7+ years of fraud, risk management, or financial crime experience within a bank or credit union.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong knowledge of fraud schemes impacting community banks (check fraud, ACH/wire fraud, account takeover, loan fraud, elder fraud, etc.).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with fraud-monitoring systems.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Familiarity with FFIEC guidance and fraud-related banking regulations.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Excellent analytical, investigative, and communication skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Excellent interpersonal skills: including use of professional and clear verbal communication and writing skills.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><u>Physical Requirements &amp; Working Conditions</u></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to travel to branches, off-site training, and/or meetings required</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lobby/professional office environment with moderate sound.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.25in;\">EOE m/f/d/v</p>\n",
