Join us in creating an exceptional overnight experience for both our team and our valued customers. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>What’s in it for you?</em></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Pay On-Demand</strong>: Get quick access a portion of your earned wages after completed shifts.</li>\n <li><strong>Weekly Pay</strong>: Week starts on Saturday and ends on Friday – payday is Friday.</li>\n <li><strong>Overnight Differential</strong>: Earn an additional .75¢ per hour between the hours of 10pm-6am.</li>\n <li><strong>Benefits:</strong> including health, dental, vision insurance, paid time-off, and a matching 401K (up to 6%).</li>\n <li><strong>Annual Retirement Contribution:</strong> 3% gross pay contribution to 401K after 1 year of service (restrictions apply).</li>\n <li><strong>Career Growth Opportunity:</strong> Explore potential for a long-term career.</li>\n <li><strong>Paid Training & Development Programs:</strong> Invest in your growth with participation in one of our career paths.</li>\n <li><strong>Employee Discount: </strong>Enjoy 15% off store purchases (with some exceptions)<strong>.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Paid Breaks: </strong>during 8-hour shifts<strong>.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide exceptional customer service and tend to customers in a prompt, efficient, friendly manner.</li>\n <li>Crosstrain in deli, cafe, bakery, and cashier duties.</li>\n <li>Ensure all fresh food items are in stock and meet quality standards.</li>\n <li>Follow all food safety and dating procedures.</li>\n <li>Follow proper guidelines for food preparation, cash handling, timekeeping, sanitation, and all other procedures.</li>\n <li>Train new Team Members and delegate work on assigned shift.</li>\n <li>Sweep, mop, empty trash and clean as necessary, including restrooms.</li>\n <li>Attend all mandatory/scheduled store meetings. </li>\n <li>Ensure that safety and uniform policies are followed.</li>\n <li>Keep up to date on new policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Enforce and practice Loss Prevention policies.</li>\n <li>Be proficient in cash handling, lottery procedures and cash control policies.</li>\n <li>Communicate any questions, concerns, or issues to leadership in a timely manner.</li>\n <li>Complete all assigned tasks and achieve shift objectives.</li>\n <li>Ensures all equipment is working safely and properly & call for service when necessary.</li>\n <li>Work with Store Manager and department managers in achieving sales and profitability goals. </li>\n <li>Comply with fuel operating policies and local/federal regulations (where applicable).</li>\n <li>Maintain lot and walkways as needed in inclement weather.</li>\n <li>Other duties/responsibilities as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A great attitude that contributes positively to the work environment.</li>\n <li>Ability to deliver the highest level of customer service.</li>\n <li>Friendly demeanor with a willingness to smile—a lot.</li>\n <li>Minimum 18 years of age.</li>\n <li>Ability to motivate, lead and work with a team.</li>\n <li>Must be a team player and be able to communicate effectively with customers and Team Members.</li>\n <li>Reliable transportation and ability to get to work on time.</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n <li>Self-motivated.</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail. </li>\n <li>Available and comfortable with working overnight/3rd shift.</li>\n <li>Completion of required on-the-job training programs and learning activities within allocated timeframe.</li>\n <li>Personal behaviors must align with QuickChek’s values.</li>\n <li>Prior food service experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Shift management/supervisory experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Physical Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Stand – Continuously.</li>\n <li>Walk – Continuously.</li>\n <li>Stoop/Kneel/Crouch – Occasionally.</li>\n <li>Grasp/Pinch/Grip - Frequently Bend/Squat/Twist – Frequently.</li>\n <li>Reaching – Continuously.</li>\n <li>Work in cold environment – Occasionally.</li>\n <li>Push/pull 40lbs – Occasionally.</li>\n <li>Lifting.</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>  Up to 10lbs – Continuously.</li>\n  <li>  Up to 25lbs – Frequently.</li>\n  <li>  Up to 50lbs – Rarely.</li>\n </ul>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation Disclosure Statement</h2>Pay is from $18.70 to $21.04 / hour QuickChek & Murphy USA take into consideration a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: experience, skill sets, training, licensure and certifications, education, as well as business and organizational needs.
