    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Marine Systems, Inc. is hiring for a Field Mechanic I in our Thorofare, NJ location.  08086</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain safe working conditions in your work area at all times\n  <ul>\n   <li>Use Stop Work Responsibility to stop an unsafe act  </li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Perform rigging duties on jobs, unsupervised</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs, unsupervised</li>\n <li>Perform advanced electronic troubleshooting / repairs and interpret electrical diagrams</li>\n <li>Submit parts list for jobs</li>\n <li>Research and reference manufactures maintenance manuals for specifications and recommendations  </li>\n <li>Write detailed reports using company forms</li>\n <li>Coordinate with supervisor and customer on jobs  \n  <ul>\n   <li>Follow service job protocol</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Perform lead mechanic duties on jobs with multiple underclassmen, when required</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Safety</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop relationships with coworkers to better understand the processes and culture that affect safety. </li>\n <li>Influence safety by evaluating safety performance, participating in safety meetings, targeting areas needing improvement and developing initiatives to impact the areas.</li>\n <li>Report safety observations, including near misses. </li>\n <li>Thoroughly knowledgeable of Safe Work Policy.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain a positive attitude and work towards achieving a Safety Goal of Zero Incidents</li>\n <li>Maintain dependability and punctuality</li>\n <li>Work on Weekends and Holidays   </li>\n <li>Work under the direction of Senior Mechanics</li>\n <li>Work out of town for extended periods  </li>\n <li>Maintain Good Study and Learning Habits</li>\n <li>Maintain Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Equal opportunity employer as to all protected groups, including protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.</p>",
