    "description": "<h2>Job Details</h2>\n<p>Kettering Transportation Services | Kettering | Full Time | 12 Hr Days</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities & Requirements</h2>\n<p><strong>Job Specific Duties: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assess extent of illness or injury, to establish and prioritize medical procedures.</li>\n <li>Administers initial treatment at emergency scenes.</li>\n <li>Assists in extricating trapped victims and transports sick and injured persons to treatment center.</li>\n <li>Communicates with physician and other medical personnel via radio and telephone.</li>\n <li>Completes patient care and billing reports.</li>\n <li>Displays a working knowledge of service areas, including facility locations, local regulations and procedures, and any local medical procedures.</li>\n <li>Ability to properly use all company provided medical equipment.</li>\n <li>Maintains strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations, as well as sensitive company and employee information.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Operational Duties:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs regular assigned shift duties.</li>\n <li>Maintains cleaning standards of station(s), vehicle(s), and equipment.</li>\n <li>Completes detailed Incident Reports and Accident Reports, in a timely manner, at the request of management.</li>\n <li>Uses appropriate terminology and tone and follows all radio communication procedures.</li>\n <li>Drives company vehicles in accordance with company driving policies. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or GED</li>\n <li>Current State of Ohio EMS certification</li>\n <li>CPR certification</li>\n <li>ACLS certification</li>\n <li>PALS certification, required within six (6) months of hire</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license, with no more than four (4) points, and approval by company insurance provider.</li>\n <li>Annual proctored skills and written protocol (standing orders) testing without lapse.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Kettering Health is a not-for-profit system of 14 medical centers and more than 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio.
