This position provides support to Blaze Mortgage Underwriters by analyzing and evaluating loan documentation, completing income calculations, and ensuring mortgage files meet company and regulatory guidelines.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Major Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Act as a resource for mortgage underwriting function as needed.</p><ul><li>Review loan files for completeness and accuracy prior to underwriting.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist underwriters in clearing conditions and preparing files for final approval/closing.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist the processing and sales team by reviewing UW Requests for income and/or scenario reviews.&nbsp;</li><li>Be a liaison between processing and the UW Team.</li><li>Assist closing department with post approval/closing updates and/or changes.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>Other Duties</p><ul><li>Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control</li><li>Exhibit Blaze’s Core Value’s: Better Lives, Thoughtfully Compassionate, Minnesota’s Best, and Give Back</li><li>Regular and predictable attendance</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned to support effective department operation.</li></ul>",
