    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Please Note: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>You are not required to report into a Mosaic office; however, there is travel to client locations across North America required for this role (~50%)</li>\n<li>Geographic flexibility: This position is open to candidates residing anywhere in the US.</li>\n<li>Candidate must have experience leading grid modernization and complex control system integration projects, including client advisory, team leadership, and utility consulting expertise with platforms such as <span>ABB</span>, <span>OSI</span>, <span>GE</span>, or <span>Schneider Electric</span>.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Position Overview</span></p>\n<p>The Director of Grid Modernization serves as a Trusted Advisor, leading the practice area's success and growth, ensuring exceptional client service delivery, and spearheading innovative approaches to meet evolving client needs. This role is responsible for timely and cost-effective project delivery (including identifying opportunities for rate adjustments and additional scope to optimize profitability), building customer and industry relationships, and providing advisory consulting services. In collaboration with the Vice President of Grid Modernization, the Director provides strategic leadership and mentorship to the Grid Modernization team, driving performance and continuous improvement.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Roles and Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p>The responsibilities of the Director, Grid Modernization role are as follows:</p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Trusted Advisor Services</span>: Provide trusted advisor services for complex system integration projects, leading strategic conversations with clients to shape future-state application design, business processes, and data structures, and guide their organization toward its long-term goals.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Practice Area Growth</span>: Collaborate with sales and project teams to promote knowledge sharing, develop new business opportunities, and drive revenue growth in existing accounts.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Customer Relationship Management</span>: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, providing strategic guidance, ensuring their satisfaction, and fostering long-term partnerships.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Service Offering Innovation</span>: Continuously evaluate industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to drive service innovation and differentiation.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Team Leadership</span>: Strongly lead within the practice area and across project teams by setting clear expectations, providing mentorship, and developing capabilities.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Business Development</span>: Support business development efforts by actively networking, pursuing new client relationships, and participating in industry events.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>To respond to client and project needs effectively, roles and responsibilities will vary and may include additional responsibilities not listed.<br></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Skills and Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Extensive experience in a consulting or professional services environment, focusing on growth, customer relationship management, and service innovation.</li>\n<li>Proven track record of leading multiple projects, driving revenue growth, establishing and managing successful client relationships, and delivering high-quality consulting services.</li>\n<li>Strong business acumen and demonstrated problem-solving abilities in a production/deadline-driven environment.</li>\n<li>The ability to see multiple points of view and guide diverse teams and clients on a wide range of technical matters.</li>\n<li>Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, foster collaboration, and work through conflict.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.</li>\n<li>Ten plus years of experience with complex control system design, development, and deployment.</li>\n<li>Experience with ABB, OSI, GE, or Schneider Electric systems and tools.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>At Mosaic, we are invested in our people and are proud to offer a competitive total compensation package. Compensation decisions are made based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, consulting experience, education and training, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. The salary range listed reflects a good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting. A reasonable national base salary range for this position is $180,000.00 - $265,000.00 USD annually, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. This position is eligible to participate in a bonus program of up to 15% of annual compensation, subject to individual and organizational performance.
