CUSTOMER SERVICE/INSIDE SALES SUPPORT
Position Summary
Customer Service/Inside Sales support will be responsible primarily for purchase order status and vendor/customer shipment accuracy. This position will assist with inventory control and quality control issues and will act as a member of the inside sales team.
Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Primary Responsibilities
Performs daily material receiving in ERP system. Print PO receivers and assist warehouse personnel with check-ins to ensure vendor shipping accuracy. Attach all packing slips and receivers to purchase orders each day
Monitors [email protected] email inbox for vendor order acknowledgments and update from Open Purchase Order status to Vendor Shipment Notification status with correct ship date. Attach copy of acknowledgements to PO in ERP system
Follows up on all Open Purchase Orders that are older than 2 days and have not been changed to Vendor Shipment Notification status to obtain copy of acknowledgement, update PO with accurate ship date and attach copy of acknowledgement to the purchase order
Assists Inventory Control Specialist with inventory management issues such as damaged shipments, tracking down missing inventory/causes, returned inventory processing, etc.
Quality Control: Reviews picked orders for accuracy prior to packaging and loading of orders for delivery
Secondary Job Responsibilities-Entry Level Inside Sales
Enters orders and order statuses by using basic knowledge of CITCO core products
Collects and enters proper PO, Ship to Address, customer contact name and phone number, and any special delivery instructions
Communicates sales leads to outside sales staff, as well as commits any leads to CITCO CRM software
Researches and updates customer contact information, sales history, customer product pricing, vendor product pricing, and basic market pricing knowledge
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of CITCO core products to service our customers within one year of hire. Knowledge base includes:
General treatment chemicals, including container size options and overall function or purpose of treatment chemical
General pipe, valve, fittings knowledge, e.g. pipe types, and O.D., Waterworks Brass, pipe fittings, fire hydrants, basic valves
General service offerings and ability to interpret and quote from standardized price lists, e.g. wet taps, valve inserts, line stops, meter testing, meter calibrations
General knowledge of residential meter setting materials, including basic meters and PRVs, e.g. saddles, corps, setters, meter boxes, covers, SRIL, Accustream, iPerl

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. CITCO Water standard hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, with occasional evening and weekend work as job duties demand.
Travel
Extensive travel is not expected, though off-site training will be required from time to time
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business management, sales or related field OR 2-3 years experience
Basic knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office programs. Basic understanding of how to use office equipment, e.g. Print, copy, fax, scan
General knowledge of CITCO core products as listed in essential functions
Preferred Education and Experience
Industry related internship or experience
CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
