Description
Role Overview
We are looking for a Scientist or Engineer to join our Inkjet Materials R&D team onsite in Rochester, New York. This individual will work on the development and characterization of new ink formulations and materials for digital inkjet printing.
Key Responsibilities:
Development, evaluation and commercialization of new ink formulations and functional materials
Establishment of testing methods and expand internal infrastructure for IJ materials characterization
Develop understanding of the fluid properties required for printing and product performance.
Required Skills/Experience:
~5 to 10 years experience in the inks, printing, colloids, dispersions or related industries
Basic understanding of dispersions and related processes and materials
History formulating ink for Piezoelectric based jetting a strong plus
Working knowledge of color science
Effective communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively on teams
Willingness to work hands-on in the lab
Education Requirements:
Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Material Science
