We assist governments, non-profit organizations, commercial firms, and humanitarian agencies in achieving their public health objectives through cost-saving procurement, efficient logistics, pharma-grade storage, last-mile delivery solutions, and real-time data tracking. The IT Director leads the development and implementation of technology strategy and tools to support PFSCM’s mission, operations, and program success. The IT Director partners with other corporate and project leaders to understand, articulate, and meet PFSCM’s information needs through technology and </span><span>oversees</span><span> all IT projects and budgets.</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span><span>The PFSCM IT Director will work in concert with the JSI CIO</span><span> </span><span>to ensure </span><span>alignment with JSI enterprise standards </span><span>and </span><span>to </span><span>identify</span><span> any enterprise IT </span><span>synergies. </span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span><span>In partnership with the company’s senior management team, the IT Director </span><span>identifies</span><span> opportunities and risks for delivering the company’s services through its IT infrastructure and solutions, including </span><span>identification of service options, opportunities for innovation, and assessment of technical hurdles to the business's success.</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #80293e; font-size: 16px\">Specific responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul></ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends that can improve organization and IT department performance and increase organizational efficiencies.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Collaborate with the business units to </span><span>identify</span><span> evolving client needs that may support or impede the success of the business and its impact on IT and data governance and data use.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Oversee projects and assignments within the Information Technology department.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Lead a high-performing IT team that responds effectively to internal and external needs, executes its activities effectively and efficiently, and keeps PFSCM’s IT tools and systems up to date and available to the business. </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Collaborate with members of the senior management team to </span><span>identify</span><span> </span><span>ways IT</span><span> can </span><span>assist</span><span> the company in achieving its business and financial goals.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Identifies new information system developments and technologies; anticipates resulting organizational modifications.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Ensure that IT and network infrastructure adequately support the company's computing, data processing, and communications goals and needs.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Communicate goals, projects, and timelines of the company to the department; plans ways to execute those goals within the department.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Establish long-term IT needs and plans and develop strategies for developing systems and </span><span>acquiring</span><span> software and hardware necessary to meet those needs.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>I</span><span>mplement, manage</span><span>,</span><span> and </span><span>maintain</span><span> compliance with ISO27001</span><span> </span><span>IT requirements, ensur</span><span>ing</span><span> alignment with our QMS.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Manage the change control process.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Ensure alignment with JSI IT standards.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Ensures compliance with government regulations and client requirements that apply to systems operations; directs development and execution of an enterprise-wide information security plan that protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company’s and client’s data and servers.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Support business development, corporate strategy, and innovation activities. </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Performs other related duties as assigned.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #80293e; font-size: 16px\">Qualifications</span></span></p>\n<p><span><span>Professional and Technical Knowledge</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Bachelor’s</span><span> degree in information systems or a relevant field is </span><span>required</span><span>.
