Our work supports health policy, research, and initiatives that influence how healthcare services are delivered, financed, and experienced across the island.</p>\n<p><br>In this role, you will contribute research, analysis and coordination that help inform decisions aimed at improving access to care, strengthening sustainability, and advancing better health outcomes for Bermuda.</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Role Overview</span></p>\n<p>The Project Associate provides high-level technical and administrative support for projects, working closely with project leads and team members to support project planning, research, analysis, and reporting.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The role contributes to project development and implementation, process refinement, and the communication of findings. The Project Associate may also lead specific project components, including preparing reports, presenting findings to stakeholders, and producing guidance materials.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Project Areas</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Writing Reports</span></p>\n<p>Produce reports on topics such as chronic kidney disease, long-term care, overseas care, health expenditure, and health system trends to support informed decision-making.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Writing Guides</span></p>\n<p>Develop informative guides including telehealth guidelines and Standards of Practice recommendations.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Data Analytics</span></p>\n<p>Collect and analyze data through surveys, stakeholder engagement, and other sources to support evidence-based policy development.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Research</span></p>\n<p>Undertake research activities such as Health Technology Assessments and programme-related studies to enhance healthcare management.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Legislative Enhancement</span></p>\n<p>Support monitoring and evaluation of regulation-related projects and assist with the enhancement of health legislation.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist the Project Manager with project planning and organization of project tasks </li>\n<li>Meet regularly with the Project Manager to review progress and discuss next steps</li>\n<li>Coordinate meetings with project teams and stakeholders</li>\n<li>Maintain project documentation and information records</li>\n<li>Identify and propose strategies to manage project-related risks</li>\n<li>Monitor deadlines and report potential delays</li>\n<li>Lead skill-specific project components including presenting findings and preparing reports</li>\n<li>Ensure project compliance with relevant legislation</li>\n<li>Coordinate committees and public health initiatives</li>\n<li>Cultivate and maintain stakeholder relationships</li>\n<li>Manage tasks in accordance with established procedures and propose enhancements through the appropriate channels</li>\n<li>Contribute analytical insights and identify opportunities to strengthen project processes and outcomes</li>\n<li>Perform additional duties as directed by the CEO or designate</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What Success Looks Like in This Role</span></p>\n<p>Successful Project Associates at the Bermuda Health Council are curious, analytical, and proactive contributors who take pride in producing thoughtful work that supports informed decision-making.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>In this role, you will:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Approach research and analysis with curiosity and rigor</li>\n<li>Communicate complex information clearly through reports and presentations</li>\n<li>Contribute ideas that strengthen project outcomes and processes</li>\n<li>Build constructive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders</li>\n<li>Deliver high-quality work while managing multiple priorities</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Undergraduate or graduate degree in public health, health regulation, healthcare administration, social sciences, or a related analytical field</li>\n<li>Experience in public health research or health regulation or related analytical work</li>\n<li>Experience engaging stakeholders toward a stated goal</li>\n<li>Experience analyzing health data and generating evidence-based insights</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills</li>\n<li>Strong writing and presentation skills</li>\n<li>Proficiency with MS Office and relevant software tools</li>\n<li>Knowledge of Bermuda’s health system and policy environment is an asset</li>\n<li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively within a team</li>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities</li>\n<li>Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines</li>\n<li>High level of professionalism and work ethic</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">How We Work</span></p>\n<p>Our work is guided by the Bermuda Health Council’s S.H.I.F.T. values:</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Strategic • Human-Centered • Integrity • Forward-Thinking • Tenacity</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>These values shape how we approach our work, collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders, and contribute to strengthening Bermuda’s health system.
