Our stability, resources, and respectful culture supports you in building a solid career with a great team you can count on day in and day out for the long term.</p><p>As an <strong>QEC Service</strong> <strong>Engineer</strong>, you will be responsible for the technical knowledge of new and existing products in engineering associated with the manufacturing process.&nbsp;</p><hr><p><strong>What You Will Do</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Establishes, analyzes, and acts upon measures of performance related to processes.</li><li>Analyzes, develops and recommends methods to meet production requirements, improve economy and quality, and reduce turn-around-times for products and/or processes with supporting cost analysis.</li><li>Participates in proactive risk analysis of flight/product safety critical parts and processes.</li><li>Contributes to the planning and conduct of repair trials to generate data for new repairs or to support existing repairs.<span>&nbsp; </span>Analyzes and documents the results of repair trials.</li><li>Investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies relating to equipment and processes to reduce variation and improve reliability.</li><li>Proposes, researches, and performs cost benefit analysis for new equipment purchases.</li><li>Recognizes and understands flight/product safety critical parts and processes.</li><li>Assists with the creation of matrix routings to manage the flow of materiel throughout the process.</li><li>Immune Specific Accountabilities</li><li>Coordinates and interacts with the outside resources including contractors, equipment vendors, and supply vendors for process support, improvement, or repair development.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span>Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering; or equivalent.</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span>Experience working with QEC (Quick Engine Change) structures or other aircraft structures.</span></li><li><span>Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills.</span></li><li><span>Strong project management skills.</span></li><li><span>Thorough knowledge of aerospace materials and processes.</span></li><li><span>In jurisdictions governed by a regulatory body or with an association that is governed by local legal requirements, registration is required.</span></li><li><span>Experience in an aerospace or manufacturing process engineering environment.</span></li></ul><hr><p><strong>Benefits That Make Life Better</strong></p><ul><li>Comprehensive healthcare coverage</li><li>Company pension with 100% company match, up to 5% vested</li><li>Paid time off starting day one</li><li>Bonus opportunities</li><li>Health &amp; Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts</li><li>Short- &amp; Long-Term Disability coverage</li><li>Life &amp; AD&amp;D Insurance</li><li>Learning &amp; training opportunities</li></ul><hr><p><strong>Raising the Standard of Excellence Since 1911</strong></p><p>With more than a century of proven excellence, StandardAero is a global leader in aerospace MRO services and customized solutions.
