Offers of Employment are contingent on a successful background checkTexas GovLink is an equal opportunities employer.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide day-to-day administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, documentation, and improvement of TXCC business network services across Austin and San Antonio. Support LAN, WAN, wireless, firewall, internet edge, DNS, DHCP, remote access, network monitoring, network diagrams, capacity planning, and service restoration activities.</li>\n <li>Support secure network operations for a high-assurance business IT environment, including segmentation, access control coordination, vendor handoff, configuration review, change implementation, service ticket resolution, and operational documentation. Work with TXCC staff, service providers, and site support personnel to keep network services available, secure, and ready for agency operations.</li>\n <li>Assist with network procurement support, asset inventory, cutover planning, migration support, vulnerability remediation, after-hours maintenance windows, and incident-related fact gathering when requested by TXCC.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong>Candidates that do not meet or exceed the <strong>minimum</strong> stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity.</p>\n<p>Years</p>\n<p>Required/Preferred</p>\n<p>Experience</p>\n<p>8</p>\n<p>Required</p>\n<p>Experience administering, operating, and troubleshooting enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, VPN, and internet connectivity services.</p>\n<p>5</p>\n<p>Required</p>\n<p>Experience with routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, wireless networks, network diagrams, and network performance monitoring.</p>\n<p>5</p>\n<p>Required</p>\n<p>Experience implementing and maintaining secure network segmentation, least-privilege access paths, and controlled network changes.</p>\n<p>3</p>\n<p>Required</p>\n<p>Experience coordinating with carriers, managed service providers, hardware vendors, and internal support teams to resolve network service issues.</p>\n<p>3</p>\n<p>Required</p>\n<p>Experience using ticketing, change management, monitoring, documentation, and inventory practices in an operational IT environment.</p>\n<p>2</p>\n<p>Required</p>\n<p>Experience supporting endpoint, collaboration, identity, or cloud/SaaS dependencies that affect business network performance and user productivity</p>\n<p>3</p>\n<p>Preferred</p>\n<p>Experience with Palo Alto, Juniper, Cisco, Aruba, Meraki, or equivalent enterprise firewall, switching, and wireless platforms.</p>\n<p>2</p>\n<p>Preferred</p>\n<p>Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Teams Rooms, VPN replacement, zero trust, or identity-governed remote access concepts.</p>\n<p>2</p>\n<p>Preferred</p>\n<p>Experience supporting the Texas public sector, higher education, critical infrastructure, CJIS, TAC 202, NIST, or similar regulated environments.</p>\n<p>1</p>\n<p>Preferred</p>\n<p>Network+, CCNA, PCNSA, JNCIA, CISSP, or comparable certification or equivalent demonstrated experience.</p>",
