Diversity is important to us; we are proudly an Equal Opportunity Employer striving for innovation and growth both for our employees and our Company.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>SUMMARY AND PURPOSE</strong></p><ul><li>Support Purchasing with a Concentration on Wrapper Fabricated and Machine parts requirements to achieve customer on time delivery expectations while achieving margin improvement through strategic sourcing.</li><li>Work cross functionally as a team backup during periods of high workload or PTO</li><li>Maintain inventory levels in support of Aftermarket and Wrapper Sales.</li></ul><p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Review and Place Purchase Orders in Profit Key for parts in support of Wrapper &amp; Site Aftermarket Sales</li><li>Track orders and Expedite in support of on time delivery Metrics</li><li>Update weekly Aftermarket status in preparation for Aftermarket Weekly Meeting</li><li>Track Monthly delivery performance results and report.</li><li>Collaborate with Shop and Sub Assembly to support Aftermarket delivery Metrics</li><li>Create New Parts as needed</li><li>Source parts from alternate vendors and/or from alternate manufacturers as needed to support customer requirements.</li><li>Notify Aftermarket team of Obsolete and EOL (End of Life) parts</li><li>Monitor Purchasing Inbox and follow up on tasks requiring action</li><li>Run Auto PO for Job Lots and Customer Orders</li><li>Send out Marked PO’s</li><li>Create Item Vendor relationships for parts that are incomplete.</li><li>Manage VIP inventory levels to ensure proper stocking levels in support of 24 hour shipment availability.</li><li>Orders Sign Commodity in support of all demand</li><li>Serve as backup for Production Control Assistant and Buyers</li><li>Support strategic initiatives for Pacteon Companies as required.&nbsp;</li><li>Correct Invoices as need through Concur</li><li>Return parts to vendors for repair, replacement, and/or credit.</li><li>Attend vendor and product training as required.</li><li>Travel required may include intercompany support, training and/or trade show support.
