    "description_html": "<div class=\"job_description\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p><b>Veterans' Driver</b></p><p><b>On-Call, Volunteer Position</b></p><p><b>$18.91/trip plus $9.46 for each additional passenger</b></p><p>&#160;</p><p><b>Position Summary:&#160;</b></p><ul><li>Transports Ozaukee County veterans to/from VA medical appointments</li></ul><p><br><b>Description of the Job:</b></p><ul><li>Respond to availability inquiries by phone, text and/or electronic mail within 24 hours.</li><li>Drive veterans to/from VA medical appointments, utilizing personal vehicle.</li><li>Provide minimal assistance to veterans with transfer from wheelchair/walker to/from vehicle.&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;</li></ul><p><br><b>Supervision Received:</b></p><ul><li>This position operates with minimal supervision.</li></ul><p><br><b>Supervision Exercised: &#160;</b></p><ul><li>None</li></ul><p><br><b>Job Requirements:</b><br>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.&#160; The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required.&#160; Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p><ul><li>Education:<ul><li>Valid Wisconsin Driver&#8217;s License required.</li><li>Proof of up to date vehicle insurance policy required.</li></ul></li><li>Experience:<ul><li>None</li></ul></li><li>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:<ul><li>&#160;Ability to assist veterans into and out of vehicle.</li></ul></li></ul><p><br><b>Work Environment: &#160;</b></p><ul><li>May be exposed to adverse weather conditions for short periods of time.</li></ul><p>Ozaukee County offers a generous benefits package including: health, dental, life, &amp; vision insurance; free employee health clinic &amp; Teladoc; paid holidays, vacation, &amp; sick time; state of Wisconsin WRS defined benefit pension program; bonus opportunities; employee fitness room; wellness program &amp; wellness reimbursement; tuition reimbursement &amp; continuing education opportunities; and more!
