Our rich diversity of people and ideas makes us a stronger, more innovative organization.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work in conjunction with the various Area Managers to effectively promote safety ownership to field management. </li>\n <li>Perform weekly, monthly and quarterly safety visits /inspection in accord with the Henkels Safety Action Plan. </li>\n <li>Provide assistance and technical expertise in implementation of all areas of the safety program. </li>\n <li>Provide training and mentorship on Daily Job Brief meetings and paperwork. </li>\n <li>Provide training and education of staff in safety philosophies and safe work practices. </li>\n <li>Deploy oversight processes which ensure the integrity of safety inspecting, training and reporting procedures. </li>\n <li>Participate in pre-bid and pre-construction phases of projects, focusing on safe work practices and equipment needed to successfully complete the scope of work. </li>\n <li>Lead development of Activity Hazard Analysis, Daily Job Briefings, Work Site Observation Reports and Safety Action Plans. </li>\n <li>Track and verify that corrective actions are completed in a timely manner. Review all incident reports to ensure corrective actions are completed. Take a pro-active role in investigating all OSHA recordables and High Loss Potential incidents. </li>\n <li>Assist in any other functions required by management.   </li>\n <li>Interface with Customers and vendors on safety related issues. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p> <strong>Requirements:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>2-5+ years in Safety related staff and management positions. </li>\n <li>Power distribution overhead and civil underground experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Experience working on an Exelon property is a plus.</li>\n <li>CUSP certificate with Bachelor's degree preferred.</li>\n <li>Effective written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Certifications such as ASP, CSP, CUSA, OSHA 510, OSHA 500 etc. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>Henkels & McCoy, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Females, Protected Veterans, and Individuals with Disabilities.</em></strong> </p>",
