    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">We are seeking talented and enthusiastic individuals to proactively investigate<a name=\"_Hlk106023045\"> and directly handle&nbsp;</a>lawyers’ and accountant’s professional liability claims.</p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>What you will do:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Be responsible for primary and excess lawyers, accountants, insurance agents and brokers, and architects and engineers professional liability claims from first notice through resolution, including coverage evaluation and litigation management.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Provide top-notch customer service through all interactions and communications including with internal and external customers and business partners.</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Work collaboratively with internal and external business partners, including underwriters, actuaries, brokers, insureds, counsel, and senior management.</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Use your negotiation skills at mediations and settlement conferences.</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Identify and communicate industry trends.</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Adhere to all statutory regulations and Unfair Claims Practices Acts.</li></ul><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>What you need to have:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Minimum of 2-3 years of claims handling experience handling lawyers and/or architects and engineers and/or applicable legal experience.</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Juris Doctor degree preferred.</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Prior claims leadership/management experience a plus.</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Adjuster’s licenses strongly preferred and will be required upon employment.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Strong analytic, investigative, listening, and negotiation skills.</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">A desire to be part of a team.</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Keen attention to detail.</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Ability and willingness to travel as needed.</li></ul><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>Who are we?</strong></p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Westfield Specialty Claims is a group of claims professionals with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
