Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Essential Duties:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Manually remove machining imperfections from parts utilizing the operator&rsquo;s skill and knowledge to efficiently perform the manual blending, polishing and creation of edge breaks on precision components.</li><li>Perform processing steps including, but not limited to, graining, hardware installation, masking, deburring, and cleaning.</li><li>Prepare chemical process solutions and baths for pre-treating and chemical cleaning of parts.</li><li>Inspect manufactured components for conformance to specifications.</li><li>Ensure that standard procedures are followed in all aspects of work including tool setup and operation, process verification, product inspection, documentation, and material handling.</li><li>Operate hand and air tools for parts processing; operate forklift as required.</li><li>Ensure documentation, including certifications, work orders, process sheets, etc. are kept in order and filled out completely.</li><li>Maintain safe work environment conditions by observing processing employee practices and correcting them when necessary.</li><li>Ensure that parts processing adheres to quality standards.</li></ul><p><strong>Secondary Duties:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Assist Shop Floor Control with tasks, such as, cutting material and overall facility care and maintenance.</li><li>Assist Receiving and Materials Management with tasks such as: loading and unloading material; collecting scrap material for recycling.</li><li>Assist in inventory cycle counts.</li><li>Assist with packaging of customer orders.</li><li>Deliver and pick up of parts and materials.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High School Diploma or equivalent.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong attention to detail.</li><li>Basic math or industrial mathematics desired.&nbsp;</li><li>Good written and verbal skills.</li><li>Basic computer skills.</li><li>Ability to read technical drawings.</li><li>Ability to set use or setup various measuring devices.</li><li>Strong problem solving skills.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>Work Setting</strong></p><ul><li>A machining environment with frequent noise in an indoor seasonally air-conditioned and heated environment. &nbsp;Combination of standing/sitting for extended periods; fine motor skills with frequent hand and arm movement; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. &nbsp; Personal protective equipment (safety glasses, ear protection) may be required. &nbsp;May operate moving equipment (forklift) as required to perform essential job functions. &nbsp;</li></ul><p><em><strong>Affirmative Action/EEO Statement:&nbsp;</strong></em></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><em>We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
