This specific position will focus solely on MRI. They evaluate exam protocols, image post-processing, and diagnostic imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance. The Diagnostic Imaging Physicist also assists with all aspects of clinical research and development in medical imaging and works to optimize diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety and promoting best practices. The Diagnostic Imaging Physicist acts as a resource and provides technical support for MRI, including 7T, low-field, MRA, MRS and MRE. Knowledge related to pulse sequence programming or RF simulations is desirable. Recent graduates from a Medical Physics Residency satisfy the 2-year experience requirement. Candidates actively pursuing ABR or ABMP MR Imaging Physics certification are encouraged to apply.</span></p>",
