This role works closely with internal teams and external payers to resolve billing issues, ensure compliance, and maximize reimbursement while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and professionalism.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><p>· Prepare, review, and submit insurance claims using appropriate billing codes.</p><p>· Monitor and resolve rejected or denied claims and follow up with insurance companies.</p><p>· Collaborate with Client Benefits and internal teams to resolve eligibility and billing issues.</p><p>· Maintain accurate billing records in compliance with policies and standards.</p><p>· Respond to patient and insurance inquiries regarding billing and account balances.</p><p>· Review remittances and ensure timely resubmission of claims.</p><p>· Assist with payment posting and account reconciliation.</p><p>· Support audits and reporting with billing documentation.</p><p>· Stay current on billing regulations, insurance policies, and payer requirements.</p><p>· Perform additional duties as assigned.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p><br></p><p>· High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.</p><p>· 2–3 years of medical billing or relevant experience.</p><p>· Knowledge of medical billing procedures and claims processing.</p><p>· Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding.</p><p>· Understanding of Medicaid, Medicare, and payer requirements.</p><p>· Experience with EHR and billing systems.</p><p>· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.</p><p>· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.</p><p>· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</p><p>· Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA standards.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Why Work for Us</strong></p><p>We are looking for collaborative, curious individuals with a “can do” mentality to join our team of compassionate employees!
