    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Overview</span></p>\n<p>Connexus Hub is seeking a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Senior Cybersecurity Operations Engineer</span> to support a federal client’s hybrid IT environment. This role leads <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">security operations, continuous monitoring, and incident response</span> across Azure cloud and on-prem infrastructure.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">security operations and continuous monitoring</span> activities aligned with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">NIST, FISMA, and CISA directives</span></li>\n<li>Configure and operate <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">SIEM, SOAR, EDR, NDR, and Syslog solutions</span></li>\n<li>Conduct <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">threat hunting, log analysis, and incident response</span></li>\n<li>Manage and secure <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Microsoft 365 / Azure environments</span>, including Defender for Cloud</li>\n<li>Develop <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">security automation and orchestration capabilities</span></li>\n<li>Produce <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">security metrics, reports, and threat intelligence summaries</span></li>\n<li>Maintain <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">security documentation, SOPs, and incident handling procedures</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Required Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>6+ years in cybersecurity operations (federal or comparable environment preferred)</li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with:\n<ul>\n<li>SIEM (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel)</li>\n<li>EDR/NDR tools</li>\n<li>Azure security / M365 security stack</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">NIST 800-53, FISMA, and federal cybersecurity frameworks</span></li>\n<li>Experience with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">incident response and threat detection</span></li>\n<li>Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Preferred</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, or equivalent</li>\n<li>Experience with CDM tools</li>\n<li>Scripting (PowerShell, Python)</li>\n</ul>",
