In this role, you will support day-to-day Human Resources operations while partnering closely with leadership, field employees, and corporate HR to ensure a positive and compliant workplace.This is an excellent opportunity for a well-rounded HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, construction-focused environment and enjoys being a trusted advisor to employees at all levels.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000. Salary to be determined by experience.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<p><strong>Employee Relations & Support</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Serve as a primary HR contact for employees and managers regarding policies, procedures, and workplace concerns.</p></li>\n <li><p>Support employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive, respectful work culture.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Recruitment & Onboarding</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Coordinate full-cycle recruiting for field and office roles, including posting jobs, screening candidates, and supporting hiring managers.</p></li>\n <li><p>Manage onboarding and orientation activities to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>HR Compliance & Documentation</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as company policies.</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HRIS data integrity.</p></li>\n <li><p>Assist with compliance reporting, audits, and documentation related to safety, training, certifications, and EEO requirements.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits, Payroll & Leave Support</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Assist employees with benefits enrollment, questions, and issue resolution.</p></li>\n <li><p>Partner with payroll to address timekeeping and pay inquiries.</p></li>\n <li><p>Administer leaves of absence (FMLA, ADA, Workers’ Comp) and coordinate required documentation.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Performance & Talent Support</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Support employee development initiatives, training tracking, and workforce planning efforts.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>HR Projects & Process Improvement</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Contribute to HR system improvements, policy updates, and company-wide HR initiatives.</p></li>\n <li><p>Assist with culture-building programs, recognition events, and internal communications.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Bring</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Skills & Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>2–4+ years of broad HR experience, preferably within construction, utilities, engineering, or a similar field environment.</p></li>\n <li><p>Working knowledge of HR laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, EEO, wage and hour).</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience with HRIS systems and strong attention to detail.</p></li>\n <li><p>Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>You Are Someone Who…</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.</p></li>\n <li><p>Builds trust quickly with employees, supervisors, and field personnel.</p></li>\n <li><p>Balances employee advocacy with sound business judgment.</p></li>\n <li><p>Is organized, adaptable, and committed to maintaining confidentiality.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.</p></li>\n <li><p>PHR, SHRM-CP, or other HR certification.</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience supporting multi-site or field-based operations.</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience with JDE (JD Edwards) is a plus.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Get</h2>\n<p><strong>Benefits</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>PAR offers a comprehensive benefits package including:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>100% employer-paid health care benefits (medical, dental, and vision) for you and your dependents</li>\n <li>100% employer-paid basic life insurance</li>\n <li>100% employer-paid disability benefits</li>\n <li>401(k) retirement plan with matching contribution</li>\n <li>Paid Time Off (sick and vacation)</li>\n <li>Paid Holidays</li>\n <li>Tuition Assistance</li>\n <li>Wellness and Mental Health Programs</li>\n <li>Learning and Development Programs</li>\n</ul>\n<p>PAR Electrical Contractors, LLC does not sponsor applicants for work visas.
