We even offer pet insurance for your four-legged family members. • Early access to earned wages with Daily Pay, tuition reimbursement to help further your career and adoption assistance to help you grow your family. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>With a collective goal to champion a culture of belonging where everyone feels valued and respected, we honor the ways people are unique and embrace what brings us together.   </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>And, we believe equipping you with support and development opportunities is a vital part of delivering an exceptional employment experience. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Join our team of experts and make a difference with UnityPoint Health.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assists patients with ADL’s according to hospital procedures, reports all abnormal findings and changes in patient condition to nurse in charge of patient.</li>\n <li>Assists with ambulation of patients and uses assist devices as appropriate to protect patient and staff member.</li>\n <li>Assists with restocking of rooms and maintain a safe and clean environment.</li>\n <li>Attends appropriate training programs, unit meetings and other mandatory meetings.</li>\n <li>Seeks to be involved in unit improvements, quality projects, and other enhancements to patient care.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates the UnityPoint Health Values and Standards of Behaviors as well as adheres to policies and procedures and safety guidelines.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates ability to meet business needs of department with regular, reliable attendance.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be actively enrolled in high school or an equivalent program required. </li>\n <li>High school graduate or equivalent preferred. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Previous hospital or nursing home experience as a Patient Care Tech and/or completion of training in nursing school that covers Patient Care Tech type duties and/or Must attend UPHSL Patient Care Tech training.   </li>\n <li>Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>License(s)/Certification(s):</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire. </li>\n <li>Certified Nursing Assistant required. </li>\n</ul>",
