    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Maintenance Technician – New Behavioral Health Hospital near Jacksonville, FL - Opening Late Summer 2026</strong></p>\n<p>We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to perform routine and specific maintenance services which may include grounds work. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Coastal Pines will be a modern, purpose-built facility and a cornerstone of behavioral health care in Northeast Florida, designed to meet the growing demand for high-quality psychiatric services in the region.  The 144-bed behavioral health hospital, located in St. Johns, will offer a full continuum of services including inpatient psychiatric care, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT).</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p>\n<p>Our leaders are equipped with the tools, support, and benefits they need to thrive:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive compensation package including performance-based incentives</li>\n <li>Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance</li>\n <li>401(k) plan with company match through Acadia Healthcare</li>\n <li>Equity/stock-based incentive awards for long-term financial growth</li>\n <li>Generous paid time off including vacation, holidays, and sick days</li>\n</ul>\n<p>If you're ready to lead with purpose and drive lasting impact in the behavioral health space, we invite you to consider joining us at Coastal Pines Behavioral Health.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform general maintenance and repair to facility and equipment which may involve plumbing, carpentry, painting and mechanical equipment repair or similar.</li>\n <li>Act as back-up for call person in case of emergency, respond timely and appropriately.</li>\n <li>Handle all equipment in a safe manner to prevent accidents and demonstrate good working knowledge of tools and their safe use.</li>\n <li>Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools in a safe and effective manner.</li>\n <li>Follow preventive maintenance schedule / instruction and complete reports, as requested.</li>\n <li>Inspect and maintain emergency power equipment, test/start generator once a week and maintain equipment; inspect and maintain fire alarm system to include testing system, fire doors, audible alarms, visible alarms(lights) and smoke detectors and record data on appropriate forms as required by state or facility; check condition and readiness of extinguishers monthly; inspect and maintain lighting system throughout facility.</li>\n <li>Inspect and maintain plumbing system, replace or repair faucets, toilet stools, urinals, traps, drains, basins and bathtubs, as needed; repair or refinishe furniture in rooms, offices and dining room as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>OTHER FUNCTIONS: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>Experience in maintenance or facility operations required.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of standard practices, procedures and tools in the general building/maintenance trades preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are committed to providing equal  employment opportunities to all applicants for employment regardless of an individual’s characteristics protected by applicable state, federal and local laws.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>AHGROW</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#LI-CPBH</p>",
