We are looking for passionate, driven individuals to join our team focused on <em>Delivering Solutions and Improving Lives</em>.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>NV5 is currently seeking a Lead Mechanical Systems Commissioning Engineer to join our Americas Mission Critical team and service our clients nationally as needs dictate. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and well versed in commissioning, facility engineering, construction, and operations. The market served will include mission critical.  Duties and responsibilities related to this position are listed below.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for the technical delivery both as a project lead and technical resource for mission critical commissioning projects with minimal supervision while completing assignments that require independent judgement and evaluation.</li>\n <li>Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors and other project team members.</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain client relationships. Develop relationships on projects that accrue good will with our existing clients and collaborate with our management team to extend our existing relationships.</li>\n <li>Develop and manage project specific commissioning plans, commissioning procedures, checklists, test scripts, and schedules for Level 1 through Level 5 commissioning activities.</li>\n <li>Perform technical reviews of design documents and submittals specific to mechanical and plumbing Systems.</li>\n <li>Lead onsite teams to perform functional performance tests on mechanical and plumbing systems.</li>\n <li>Provide project management and coordination to meet client expectations for technical excellence, budget and schedule.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>10 years or more of progressive experience in building systems commissioning with at least 3 years of mission critical facility experience.</li>\n <li>Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential.</li>\n <li>Experience in diagnosing and solving construction and operational problems.</li>\n <li>Able to work as part of a team, think creatively, and problem solve.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge and experience of electrical systems.</li>\n <li>Willingness to travel 75% or more as national level projects dictate.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>NV5 offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including medical, dental, life insurance, PTO, 401(k) and professional development/advancement opportunities.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>NV5 provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
