font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Position Summary</span></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">The Instructional Design Specialist supports faculty in developing high-quality courses, assignments, and learning </span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">experiences while collaborating with the Center of Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) staff to provide professional development and support for effective course design and instructional technology implementation.</span></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Essential Job Duties</span></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">• Collaborate with faculty to design and develop high-quality, learner-centered courses for online and in-person </span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">formats.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">• Ensure course alignment with institutional standards including Quality Matters for online courses.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">• Consult on the creation of measurable student learning outcomes and content accessibility.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">• Assist faculty with integration of instructional technology tools to enhance learning experiences.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">• Provide ongoing consultation and support for course design and technology implementation.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">• Manage Quality Matters program and quality assurance processes for online courses.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">• Mentor faculty through the Quality Matters course review process.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">• Conduct workshops and training sessions on course design and instructional technology best practices.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">• Develop and maintain online resources for faculty support.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\">• Serve on university committees as assigned.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;
