    "jobDescription": "<p style=\"text-align:left\"><b>Position Title:</b></p>2026-27AY Quarterly Lecturer - Business Communication (Pool)<p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\"><b>Position Type:</b></p>Temporary<p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\"><b>Salary Range:</b></p><p><span>Starting at $10,230 per 4-unit undergraduate course </span></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\"><b>Purpose:</b></p><p><span>The Marketing Department at Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business seeks applicants for a Quarterly Lecturer position for the 2026-2027 academic year.</span></p><p></p><p><span>This pool is refreshed annually to address short-term teaching needs in the Leavey School of Business. Quarterly Lecturers are appointed on a course-by-course basis for a fixed term of one quarter.</span></p><p></p><p><b><b>Basic Qualifications:</b></b></p><p><span>Master’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of business experience in role(s) that require effective business communication for success.</span></p><p></p><p><b><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></b></p><ul><li><p><span>PhD degree in Communication or Professional Writing is preferred;</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience teaching Business Writing, Presentation Skills, and Networking Skills.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience in use of classroom technology and modern modes of communication technology.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><b>Responsibilities:</b></b></p><p><span>Teaching business communications courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
