The Junior Business Systems Analyst (JBSA) analyzes business processes and practices, to focus the design and implementation of information technology solutions on meeting business initiatives. The JBSA resolves software and data issues; develops test plans and conducts unit testing; creates, maintains, and disseminates documentation as required; and provides training as determined.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>This role requires a full-time, on-site presence in the Jupiter, FL office, five days per week.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Attend and run meetings with end users to gather requirements for existing or new computer system applications</li>\n <li>Acquire detailed knowledge of a variety of business applications</li>\n <li>Conduct research and analysis into the nature, effect and results of system problems and resolve them</li>\n <li>Review, define and document new application requirements or modifications and work with development team to design and develop software</li>\n <li>Coordinate and/or perform quality assurance testing of system modifications; review and analyze computer printouts and performance indicators to locate code problems, and correct errors by correcting codes</li>\n <li>Communicate system changes and related issues to all levels of the team; consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles</li>\n <li>Develop, provide, or coordinate system training and educational materials; ensure current and accurate system documentation</li>\n <li>Use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards</li>\n <li>Recommend development of strategies for integration and system testing</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field</li>\n <li>Work history to include demonstration of each of the following:</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>High level of computer literacy with business productivity systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)</li>\n  <li>Ability to handle multiple demands for time, energy, and resources</li>\n  <li>Ability to author, review and edit business/functional requirements and specifications based on interviews and process analysis</li>\n  <li>Ability to plan and design testing methods, scenarios, and cases</li>\n </ul>\n <li>Excellent oral and written communication skills; listening skills</li>\n <li>Aptitude in learning new software applications quickly and with minimal direction; proficiency with Microsoft Office applications</li>\n <li>Analytical and negotiation skills with close attention to detail</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills; write informatively, clearly, and accurately</li>\n <li>Ability to work well within a team and facilitate effective team interaction</li>\n <li>Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconciling conflicts, decomposing high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying business needs</li>\n <li>Problem solving and active listening skills</li>\n <li>Encourage effective teamwork</li>\n <li>Able to assess and evaluate situations effectively; synthesize facts, concepts, principles; identify critical issues quickly and accurately</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Queries, and SQL Reporting Services</li>\n <li>Experience in software development and or software testing and quality assurance</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>BENEFITS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, retirement plan and disability insurance</li>\n <li>Eight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days</li>\n <li>Vacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly; unused vacation is only paid out where required by law</li>\n</ul>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Closing</h2>\n<p>Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
