This hands-on role requires precision, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. You’ll contribute directly to our mission by ensuring each unit meets our rigorous standards and reflects our core values.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>What you will do</strong></p>\n<p>Understand and carry out detailed written/verbal instructions regarding the installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of ALL manufacturing equipment. Complete training to ensure safe and proper operation of tools, equipment, and installation of manufacturing equipment. Repeatedly lift/move material that is 50+ lbs. with or without assistance from lifting devices and/or co-workers. Ensure all equipment is functioning at optimum levels by performing short-term repairs and long-term improvements as specified on work orders and preventative maintenance schedules. Follow all safety policies and procedures.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Necessary Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma required</li>\n <li>Understand and follow instructions (spoken and written).</li>\n <li>Stay organized and pay attention to details.</li>\n <li>Perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide).</li>\n <li>Lift safely using proper techniques.</li>\n <li>Use hands and arms to handle tools and materials.</li>\n <li>Use measuring tools and hand/power tools.</li>\n <li>Operate lifting equipment like overhead hoists.</li>\n <li>Lift/push over 75 lbs. and pull up to 60 lbs.</li>\n <li>Stand and walk frequently; occasionally sit, bend, reach, or kneel.</li>\n <li>Have good vision, including depth perception and focus (20/40 or better with or without glasses/contacts).</li>\n <li>Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE (steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection).</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems (e.g., gearboxes, pumps, belts, conveyors, sensors).</li>\n <li>Weld using at least two methods (TIG, MIG, or Stick).</li>\n <li>Understand basic PLC functions.</li>\n <li>Install equipment, including leveling and plumbing air lines and conduit.</li>\n <li>Work independently on mechanical and electrical tasks.</li>\n <li>Maintain high standards of workmanship, integrity, and efficiency.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>3 Years of Consistent work history</li>\n <li>1 year of manufacturing experience</li>\n <li>1 year of Maintenance Experience (School or Job)</li>\n <li>Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with standard computer systems and applications.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em><u> </u></em></strong></p>\n<p><strong><em><u>Join ERMCO and TRANSFORM your career.</u></em></strong></p>\n<h2>Job Locations</h2>US-GA-Athens",
