    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Location: </strong>CONNRI Lodge (Ashford, CT)</p>\n<p><strong>Status: </strong>Non-exempt, On-call</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Scope of Position: </strong>To support various programs/events at Camp CONNRI and the CONNRI Lodge.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Learn more about Camp CONNRI and the Lodge at https://easternusa.salvationarmy.org/southern-new-england/connri-lodge--conference-center/</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure that trash throughout the area is being maintained.</li>\n <li>Perform any reasonable task that is asked of the event’s Director.</li>\n <li>Reorganize chairs after each meeting, as needed.</li>\n <li>Set up chairs, tables, and any other needed equipment.</li>\n <li>Ensure proper portion size in the delivery of all meals.</li>\n <li>Ensure that all meals are prepared according to the approved menus.</li>\n <li>Ensure that the kitchen area is kept clean and sanitary.</li>\n <li>Maintain efficient preparation and delivery of all meals.</li>\n <li>Maintain inventory and meal preparation records.</li>\n <li>Set up and clean before and after each meal /event: sweep floors, pick up trash, arrange chairs neatly, etc.</li>\n <li>Make sure furniture, computers, etc., are arranged neatly.</li>\n <li>Stock needed supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, trash bags, etc.).</li>\n <li>Sweep, vacuum, mop, and empty trash in housing units,</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.</li>\n <li>Must be able to provide transportation to and from the work site.</li>\n <li>Will respect and promote the interest of The Salvation Army.
