The VP will play a hands‑on role across the full investment lifecycle, working closely with senior deal team members and portfolio company management teams</p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Investment Execution</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead and support all aspects of the investment process, including:&nbsp; \n  <ul>\n   <li>Deal sourcing and screening</li>\n   <li>Financial modeling and valuation</li>\n   <li>Commercial, technical, regulatory, ESG, and legal diligence</li>\n   <li>Transaction structuring, negotiation, and execution</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Prepare and present investment materials for internal review and Investment Committee.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Portfolio Management</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Actively support portfolio companies post‑close, including:&nbsp; \n  <ul>\n   <li>Board participation and observer roles</li>\n   <li>Strategic initiatives, acquisitions, financings, and exits</li>\n   <li>Ongoing performance monitoring and valuation analysis</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Coordinate with internal partners (Capital Markets, ESG, Risk, Legal, Operations).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Market &amp; Sector Work</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop deep expertise across infrastructure subsectors (e.g., energy transition, power, utilities, transportation, digital infrastructure).</li>\n <li>Track market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics.</li>\n <li>Support thematic research and proactive sourcing initiatives.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Team Leadership</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Mentor and oversee Associates and Analysts.</li>\n <li>Work collaboratively across global Infrastructure and Alternatives teams.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>7–10+ years of total experience</strong> in infrastructure investing, private equity, energy/transition investing, or related sectors.</li>\n <li>Prior experience at:&nbsp; \n  <ul>\n   <li>Infrastructure private equity or infrastructure credit funds</li>\n   <li>Private equity funds with strong infrastructure exposure</li>\n   <li>Investment banking (Infrastructure / Power / Energy / Sponsors), with buyside experience preferred</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience across:&nbsp; \n  <ul>\n   <li>Full‑cycle investing (sourcing → execution → portfolio management)</li>\n   <li>Complex financial modeling and structuring</li>\n   <li>Investment Committee materials and senior‑level presentations</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Strong understanding of:&nbsp; \n  <ul>\n   <li>Project finance and cash‑flow‑based assets</li>\n   <li>Regulatory frameworks and long‑duration assets</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Outstanding analytical, judgment, and communication skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to operate independently and “play up” in a lean deal team environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Attributes for Success</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Commercial mindset with strong investment judgment</li>\n <li>Highly collaborative and team‑oriented</li>\n <li>Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple workstreams</li>\n <li>Comfortable engaging with management teams, advisors, and senior stakeholders</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Salary Range</strong>&nbsp;</span><br><span>The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $150,000-$300,000.
