    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Windows System Engineer SME provides support and administration of the CAA and Army Contracting Command – Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) in a Windows Server distributed environment.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>· Perform Operating System (OS) tasks such as OS installation, upgrades, patches, fixes, testing, and troubleshooting</p>\n<p>· Provide automation, continuous improvement recommendations, and implementation for all patching services</p>\n<p>· Perform production control activities such as the support of cyclical changes to operational workloads, data administration, data compression, data restores, reorganization of files, recovery of systems, production of reports, download/upload of information, setup and verification of files and programs</p>\n<p>· Create and manage a routine Maintenance Window schedule that adheres to the USCIS Configuration Change and Release Management (CCRM) process</p>\n<p>· Perform log reviews and server configuration changes</p>\n<p>· Coordinate OS upgrades, patches, fixes, and testing with stakeholders</p>\n<p>· Analyze data and provide recommendations to address application high availability issues and requirements.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a similar Information Technology Field.</p>\n<p>· A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Windows engineering, specifically including:</p>\n<p>· Analysis related to the design, development, and integration of hardware and software to support large-scale Windows environments with virtualization</p>\n<p>· 10 years’ experience testing large-scale Windows environments.</p>\n<p>· Experience performing a variety of engineering and operational-related assignments associated with Storage operations, backup operations, and virtualization software (VMware’s vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V on a set of enterprise-level IT systems.</p>\n<p>· 10 years’ experience writing scripts with a scripting language, with knowledge of ANSIBLE</p>\n<p>· Familiarity with DevOps and ITIL processes</p>\n<p>· Experienced in AWS, AZURE, Google Cloud Services, and other Cloud environments</p>\n<p>· Secret Clearance</p>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p>Integral partners with federal defense, intelligence, and civilian leaders to tackle their most important challenges and deliver positive outcomes.
