    "description_html": "<p><strong>JOB SUMMARY:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The Signature Restaurant Bartender is responsible for taking orders, preparing, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and light meals to guests, courteously and efficiently, in accordance with hotel specifications. Maintain stock and supplies, and keep the outlet and equipment clean. Provide efficient, friendly customer service at all times and maintain a clean, professional, top-quality bar and dining room.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated people, and drunk driving.</li><li>Maintain complete knowledge of &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;P.O.S. and manual systems.</li><li>Check the cleanliness and condition of the bar unit (C02 lines, soda tanks, soda guns, drain, etc.).</li><li>Check the condition and cleanliness of the blender, shaker, and other tools.</li><li>Check the temperature of refrigeration units.</li><li>Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the bar top, tables, and service areas.</li><li>Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs promptly to ensure no shortages throughout scheduled function time. Ensure proper authorization for any additional payments required prior to replenishment.</li><li>Clearly communicate the last call at the designated closing time to guests</li><li>Properly set up and maintain a clean, efficient bar throughout the shift.</li><li>Have knowledge of fine dining/ upscale service.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of cocktails and spirits.</li><li>Have knowledge of all wines, spirits, and beers.</li><li>Must have knowledge of the entire food menu.</li><li>Must have experience selling and presenting wine.</li><li>Must have strong sales and communications skills. Utilizing suggestive/upselling techniques.</li><li>Engage with all guests continuously to ensure their experience is memorable.</li><li>Complete all closing reports in the P.O.S. system.</li><li>Count the bank at the end of the shift; complete designated cashier reports and drop receipts; and secure the bank.</li><li>Assist with weekly/monthly inventories.</li><li>Follow the maintenance program and cleaning schedule.</li><li>Legibly document maintenance needs on work orders and submit them to management.</li><li>Responsible for compliance with state laws regulating the serving of alcohol. This includes carding of all guests regardless of perceived age.&nbsp;</li><li>Think clearly, quickly, maintain concentration, and make concise decisions.</li><li>Ability to perform the job functions with minimal supervision.</li><li>Ensure each guest is greeted and that all food and beverage operations are running smoothly.</li></ul><p><strong>SKILLS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must satisfactorily perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required</p><p>· &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Minimum 2 years Upscale Casual or Fine Dining Bartending Experience.</p><p>· &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.</p><p>· &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Full-Service Bar Experience (beer, wine, and liquor).</p><p>· &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Able to be on your feet for up to eight hours.</p><p>· &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Able to communicate effectively with guests and other associates.</p><p>· &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Must be able to work indoors and outdoors.&nbsp;</p><p>· &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Must be able to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and weekends.</p><p>· &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;High school graduate or equivalent.</p><p>· &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Previous experience in a similar position in the hospitality industry.</p><p>· &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Prior experience with a POS system</p><ul><li>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;RBS Certification</li></ul><p><strong>QUALIFICATION:</strong></p><p>Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to the safety or health of employees or others.
