    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Allan Myers is looking for an ambitious and dedicated Class B CDL driver to join our elite team of drivers. (<strong>Night-Shift)</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This non-exempt position is dispatched to transport construction materials to customer or various job site locations. Conducts all work in accordance with Allan Myers policies, procedures, and programs.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilties: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Makes daily pre/post trip inspections on assigned vehicle to maintain maximum vehicle safety conditions and to check for any damaged or work parts or for any signs of tampering.</li>\n <li>Pickup materials (dirt, stone, or asphalt), haul to jobsite locations and deliver materials. Repeat process as needed in a safe and timely manner as directed. </li>\n <li>Maintains a truck log in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policy.</li>\n <li>Communicates regularly with dispatcher to ensure that delivery schedule is being followed and that any problems with traffic or with site conditions are reported promptly</li>\n <li>Complies with all aspects of truck maintenance, cleanliness, and repair in accordance with the guidelines specified in the Truck Driver's Handbook.</li>\n <li>Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<strong>Hourly Range:</strong>• $25.00 - $30.00, based on experience.\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</em></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED required.</li>\n <li>1-2 years of experience on construction sites.</li>\n <li>Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License is required</li>\n <li>One year of CDL driving in a vehicle with a GVW of 33,000 pounds or greater is required.</li>\n <li>Previous dump truck experience is preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Our Company Does Work That Matters</strong></p>\n<p>Allan Myers is the largest heavy civil construction and materials production contractor in the mid-Atlantic.
