This position works closely with Refurb Technician II&rsquo;s, III&rsquo;s, and the Technical Services team. This role is critical in ensuring the optimal functionality of our equipment to meet our customers&rsquo; service requirements while operating with proficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a keen attention to detail, a commitment to maintaining equipment in good working order, and a willingness to learn and grow within the field of ice machine repair and maintenance. &nbsp;The Refurb Technician I is dedicated to driving service success that not only enhances customer satisfaction but also maximizes customer retention through reliable and responsive service.&nbsp;</p><h1><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">How you will do it:&nbsp;</span></strong></h1><ul><li>Ensure adequate levels of equipment are ready for quick turnaround and shipping</li><li>Ensure refurb and repair work is completed to Easy Ice standards and is properly documented</li><li>Work alongside the Service Delivery team and Logistics team to ensure best workflow</li><li>Accomplish daily refurb tasks in a timely and efficient manner with an emphasis on quality</li><li>Ensure warehouse meets standards required by law</li><li>Responsible for sourcing equipment and making sure adequate supplies are available</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of vehicle, check fluids, wipers and tires to help maintain service-life</li></ul><h1><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">What we are look for:&nbsp;</span></strong></h1><p><u>Education:&nbsp;</u> Two years of professional experience in HVAC field, desired</p><p><u>Other Desired Skills:</u></p><ul><li>EPA 608 Certification</li><li>Excellent organizational skills</li><li>Reliable and Energetic</li><li>Problem solving</li><li>Ability to think on one&rsquo;s feet and learn rapidly without a great deal of supervision&nbsp;</li><li>Entrepreneurial, and solution driven</li><li>Flexible with performance, and time-sensitive expectations</li><li>Must be disciplined, self-motivated, and able to meet team goals</li><li>Able to work as a team member as well as independently</li><li>Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)</li></ul><h1><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Additional Required Attributes:&nbsp;</span></strong></h1><ul><li>Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer&rsquo;s experience</li><li>A desire to continually increase your knowledge of the industries we serve; and, products, services and processes our company can produce</li></ul><h1><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"> </span></strong><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Work Environment and Physical Demands:</span></strong></h1><ul><li>The employee is often required to stand; walk; sit; use ladders; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel surfaces, parts and tools; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl</li><li>Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds</li><li>Stands for extended periods of time (8+ hours per day)</li><li>While the noise level in the work environment is usually somewhat quiet, the worker may be subject to elevated noise levels&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to this classification.
