    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Stewart & Stevenson is Now Hiring a Warehouse Iat 10750 Telge Road Houston, TX 77095.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Responsible for the movement of parts/products and organization of the parts yard for a manufacturer of oil & gas equipment.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Inspect the warehouse daily to ensure items are stored, accessible, and inventoried as system and policy will require by using current inventory control systems.</li>\n <li>Work closely with Sales personnel, Parts Department, Service Department and Equipment Sales to make parts and unit inventory available as ordered, requisitioned, or needed and to return materials as required to inventory.</li>\n <li>Coordinate shipment materials from warehouse to customers, suppliers, and other branches to support material needs and customer requirements as indicated by sales order, service job or other requirements.</li>\n <li>Complete and maintain records of shipping activities, handling and related bills and other documents.</li>\n <li>Maintain clean and orderly conditions in the warehouse.</li>\n <li>Utilize forklift, pallet jacks, scales, computer, and ladders daily to complete tasks.</li>\n <li>Maintain a strong, personal commitment to the safety culture.</li>\n <li>All other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education/Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>\n <li>Experience in warehouse and inventory operations is preferred.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of basic inventory, warehousing and stocking procedures is preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Physical Activities & Requirements</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to frequently lift up to 40 lbs. Able to lift 65 lbs from floor to shoulder level occasionally as a team lift.</li>\n <li>Ability to frequently exert the pound force limits for push/pull 50lb f (no wheels) or 100lb f (wheels).</li>\n <li>Requires frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing, lifting, carrying, and reaching or handling with arms, hands, and fingers.</li>\n <li>Requires crawling and working in narrow spaces.</li>\n <li>Requires frequent repetitive movements, i.e. hammering, turning wrenches, screwdrivers and impact tools.</li>\n <li>Manual dexterity sufficient to work with fingers.</li>\n <li>Normal vision with or without corrective lenses.</li>\n <li>Exposed to cold, heat, noise mechanical/electrical fume or odor.</li>\n <li>Will be required on occasion to work more than 8 hours on one shift.</li>\n <li>Will be required to work at a minimum height of four feet off of the ground.</li>\n <li>Ability to operate overhead cranes, mobile equipment and motor vehicles as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Equal opportunity employer as to all protected groups, including protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.</p>",
