Electrical assembly must include the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and create solutions to problems that arise. To assemble simple and/or complex units consisting of small to large numbers of component parts in a manner which will consistently meet quality requirements and production standards. Operate and program laser marking machines utilizing coreldraw.<p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Complete any mechanical, electrical, and complex assembly, including adjusting, fitting, and aligning of components.</li><li>Run production parts on laser markers</li><li>Complete installation, inspection and testing of completed work.</li><li>Decipher basic and electrical schematics and blueprints.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to complete basic solvent welding.</li><li>Ability to prep wires for electrical assembly &ndash; including stripping, soldering, crimping, splicing, etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Uses a wide variety of mechanical/manual tools and operating procedures to finish parts.</li><li>Uses measuring instruments, i.e., hand mic&rsquo;s, to ensure correct tolerances are met.</li><li>Performs required testing, diagnosing and rework of assemblies as customer requires.&nbsp;</li><li>Complete and update necessary paperwork and documentation. Data entry into company systems.&nbsp;</li><li>Willingness to train others in all areas of the department.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition. Works safely and complies with all established safety rules and work practices.</li><li>Complies with Company, Department, and Section policies and procedures as applicable.</li><li>Keeps Supervisor informed of job relate problems and other information related to work activity.</li><li>Maintains a positive work attitude and promotes a &ldquo;team&rdquo; approach throughout the department.</li><li>Performs related work as apparent or assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><p>EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High school diploma.</p><p>REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Ability to read basic tolerances and simple dimensions on blueprints and use measuring instruments.&nbsp;</p><p>EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: At least 1 to 2 years of Electrical &amp; Mechanical Assembly experience &ndash; one who can diagnose, troubleshoot, and create solutions to problems that arise.</p><p>Prefer some experience with IPC 610 &amp; 620 standards.</p><p>SKILLS ABILITIES: Good manual dexterity skills, hand-eye coordination, etc. Ability to maintain a high concentration level while doing repetitive work.
