Key points include:</p><p><br /></p><p>Required Skills/Experience:</p><p>• 7+ years in developing software solutions • At least 5+ years with C# • 3+ year with messaging technologies • Expert working knowledge of C# and .NET • Expert in multi-threading and asynchronous messaging workflows • Good knowledge of SOA tools (messaging, web-services, XML libraries) • Good database skills with any RDBMS systems (primarily Oracle and/or Sybase) • Has experience of the SDLC process.</p><p>• Experience in the following web based technologies is a plus.</p><p>                                - Developing heavy JavaScript (jQuery) applications</p><p>                                - Debugging JavaScript using the browser tools (IE11 / Chrome/ Firebug)</p><p>                                - ASP.NET (WebForms/MVC)</p><p>                                - AJAX</p><p>                                - SOAP/REST web services • Experience with SPA Framework (AngularJS / Durandal), Writing test using JavaScript (qUnit, Grunt, etc), Node.js etc. are nice-to-have skills.</p><p>• Excellent communication skills</p><p>• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</p><p>• Must be a self-starter and be able work well in fast paced, dynamic environment.</p><p>• Highly analytical, proactive and detail oriented.</p><p>• Must be able to work effectively with clients and team members in other locations.</p><p><br /></p><p>DESIRABLE SKILLS:</p><p>• Experience with Reference data, Mortgage Backed Securities business will be a plus • Experience working with fixed-income products and analytics will be a plus • Knowledge of the investment banking or banking sector support environment would be beneficial.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>Summary:</p><p>The main function of a developer is to develop, create, and modify general computer applications utilizing C, C#, C++, .Net, Web etc. A typical developer is responsible for designing applications or customizing applications for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.</p><p><br /></p><p>Job Responsibilities:</p><p>• Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.• Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.• Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met.• Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.• Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan computer specifications and layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications.• Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration.</p><p><br /></p><p>Skills:</p><p>• Strong knowledge of application and software development.</p><p>• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.</p><p>• Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.</p><p>• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.</p><p>• Basic knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of drawings and models.</p><p><br /></p><p>Education/Experience:</p><p>• Bachelor&apos;s degree in computer science or equivalent training required.</p><p>• 5-7 years experience required.</p><p><br /></p>",
