The NV5 family brings together talent across a wide range of markets and fields, including Professional Engineers, Professional Land Surveyors, Architects, Photogrammetrists, GIS Professionals, Software Developers, IT, Project Management Professionals, and more.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Technical Leadership & Architecture</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Design and implement Cityworks /Trimble Unity solutions.</li>\n <li>Define and deliver system architecture recommendations aligned with client needs.</li>\n <li>Perform client system assessments and recommend optimizations or enhancements.</li>\n <li>Guide software deployments, upgrades, and integrations (Trimble Unity, Cityworks, Esri, third-party).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Sales & Business Development Support</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Partner with Sales/Account Managers in discovery, demos, and pre-sales initiatives.</li>\n <li>Write technical narratives for proposals.</li>\n <li>Develop LOE/ROM estimates and solution scope documentation.</li>\n <li>Lead live demos and shortlist presentations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Client & Project Support</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work directly with clients to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and validate solution alignment.</li>\n <li>Facilitate technical workshops, discovery sessions, and architectural reviews to guide solution direction.</li>\n <li>Participate as a core project team member, contributing to hands‑on configuration, deployment, and solution build‑out.</li>\n <li>Perform system configuration, including service requests, workflows, inspections, permits, security, and user roles.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot issues related to configuration, integrations, data quality, and system performance throughout implementation.</li>\n <li>Assist with testing including defect resolution and technical validation steps.</li>\n <li> Support data migration activities.</li>\n <li>Test APIs, monitor interface behavior, and verify end‑to‑end system functionality.</li>\n <li>Provide technical guidance during go‑lives and cutover events.</li>\n <li>Document implementation decisions, troubleshooting findings, and configuration standards for long‑term maintainability.</li>\n <li>Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients during and after implementation, ensuring the solution meets operational goals.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinate with Team Lead to develop best practices, SOPs, and training materials.</li>\n <li>Break down requirements into Jira tasks and ensure technical QA/QC.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Must Have Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Advanced understanding of Cityworks /Trimble Unity and integrations.</li>\n <li>Proven experience supporting technical sales, solution design, and enterprise strategies.</li>\n <li>5+ years of experience directly supporting and implementing Cityworks/Trimble Unity solutions with a strong understanding of the software limitations.</li>\n <li>Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise/Online and related Esri technology.</li>\n <li>5+ years in IT/GIS systems and enterprise integration projects.</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications That Set You Apart:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with Safe Software FME or similar data integration tools/platforms.</li>\n <li>Cloud deployment experience (AWS, Azure).</li>\n <li>Experience automating deployments and managing enterprise server technologies.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies and Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent communication, including confidently presenting complex content to audiences of varying skill levels and answering technical questions without a script.</li>\n <li>Exceptional technical writing and problem-solving abilities.</li>\n <li>Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and adapt quickly.</li>\n <li>Self-motivated and collaborative with cross-functional teams.</li>\n <li>Deep understanding of IT governance, infrastructure, and security best practices.</li>\n <li>Ability to travel to client locations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening.</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>NV5 offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including medical, dental, life insurance, PTO, 401(k) and professional development/advancement opportunities.</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>NV5 provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
