    "description_html": "<p><strong>Delivery – Driver</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p>The Driver/Driver-Salesman delivers product orders to assigned accounts while working to maximize sales through upselling and providing excellent, reliable customer service.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Delivers ordered product to customers on time while overseeing all delivery, truck maintenance, and safety processes and procedures for the route.</li><li>Develops and maintains an effective rapport with all customers.</li><li>Oversees performance of route helpers, assistant drivers, and merchandisers assigned to team.</li><li>Counts truck and verifies with warehouse personnel before leaving for the route.&nbsp;</li><li>Works to always be increasing product knowledge and utilizes it to help customers sell more beer.</li><li>Seeks out opportunities to sell additional product to customers upon order delivery that will help fulfill customer needs and sell more product.</li><li>Audits condition of all point-of-sale (P.O.S.) items to ensure brand representation meets company standards.</li><li>Creates invoices and collects payment from customers and reconciles all transactions with company cashier.</li><li>Checks and audits truck and equipment each day to verify it is compliant with federal operating guidelines.</li><li>Completes training, seminars and classes as assigned.</li><li>Sells all products in accordance with company guidelines and T.A.B.C. (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission).</li><li>Performs job duties in accordance with the Federal Motor Carrier Act.</li><li>Completes and submits required reports accurately and on time.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p><p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, stoop, or kneel. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exposure to frequent sitting.
