This includes implementation of tailored, interactive environmental curriculum and project based learning.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Facilitate curriculum with youth (specifically content related to environmental issues, wildfire management, ecology, sustainability, careers in the outdoor sector, recreating outdoors, public lands, and professional development such as resume building, interviewing skills, leadership skills, college readiness and more...)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Coordinate meeting times within program hours to mentor youth on individual and small group projects</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Communicate effectively with your Program Coordinator, Program Assistants, and fellow Crew Leaders </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Coordinate sessions with others including partners and panel participants</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Organize and store program materials digitally as directed by Program Coordinator</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">As this is a seasonal position, Crew Leaders are required to be available for the duration of the summer season.</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Other duties as specified</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><br></span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Experience and Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">At least 2 years out of high school. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">This is an entry level position appropriate for candidates who have recently completed, or are currently enrolled in relevant training and education. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Must be 21 years or older. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">2-3 seasons leading youth in formal or informal education, camp, or team setting. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Experience in environmental education and outdoor leadership skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Experience working virtually, including ability to use programs such as Zoom, Discord, Cisco's WebEx, G-Suite, and Google Classroom.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage youth in programming.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Dedicated commitment to expanding youth participation and engagement in outdoor learning and recreation.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Skilled in developing educational materials and communications on environmental stewardship, resource management, outdoor career pathways, and nature-based experiences.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ability to work both independently and with others collaboratively on projects.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Interest &amp; knowledge in environment/natural resource management.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Self-motivated, organized, and proactive.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Experience in a formal teaching environment preferred </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Competitive selection process; positions filled on a rolling basis.
