Our programs support multiple Federal agencies, the Department of Defense and often focused on the space initiatives of our government customers.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>I2X Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer </strong>to support ongoing activities for a customer in <strong>Huntsville, AL.</strong> <strong>This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret clearance.</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for software development in the Java language for the Regional Applications / Track Server team in Huntsville. </li>\n <li>Under minimal direction, provides specialized expertise within multiple systems, software disciplines, as well as general knowledge of related disciplines, applications implications, and customer areas.</li>\n <li> Responsible for performing in-depth analysis and technical support of systems software products, including complex problem resolution, design, development, testing, operational integration, and user support. </li>\n <li>Maintains currency, debugs and configures related software products. </li>\n <li>Works from specifications to develop or modify operating systems applications. </li>\n <li>Assists with design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging and documentation of programs. </li>\n <li>Interfaces with other system support groups to resolve problems, setting standards and improving overall efficiency of the operating system. </li>\n <li>Designs, codes, tests and implements tools for operations automation. </li>\n <li>Works on most phases of software systems programming applications, and may require minor instruction and guidance in other phases.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Active Secret clearance</li>\n <li>3 years of professional experience in related discipline </li>\n <li>Experience and knowledge of software practices such as coding standards, automated testing, automated build pipelines and configuration.</li>\n <li>Software engineering and software development with strong Java/J2EE, C++/OO or similar language experience.</li>\n <li>Experience developing enterprise applications on Linux (Windows experience also desired).</li>\n <li>Strong problem solving skills, including the ability to review performance and operational issues, identify root cause, recommend, design and implement a solution.</li>\n <li>Use of common software development and management tools such as maven, git/GitHub, nexus and Eclipse.</li>\n <li>Experience with agile development methodologies.</li>\n <li>Understanding of standard system engineering design artifacts such as Use Cases and SysML diagrams.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Desired:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Command and control system application development.</li>\n <li>Experience with Software Integration and formal testing.</li>\n <li>Knowledge and experience implementing Cyber Security/RMF requirements.</li>\n <li>Ability to present advanced concepts to non-software engineers, including senior program and military leaders.</li>\n <li>Experience with performance modeling.</li>\n <li>Experience with microservices.</li>\n <li>Experience with DevSecOps and/or build management.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Essential Requirements:</strong></p>\n<p>US Citizenship is required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is listed . The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds.
