    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>• Department: Telemetry</p>\n<p>• Schedule: Full time days, 6:45a - 7:15p, 3-12-hour shifts</p>\n<p>• Facility: Prime Healthcare Mercy Medical Center </p>\n<p>• Location: Aurora, IL, 60506</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The Patient Care Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to all patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>1.    High School Diploma or equivalent.</p>\n<p>2.    Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Illinois approved Certification required.</p>\n<p>3.    Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.</p>\n<p>4.    Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred.</p>\n<p>5.    Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.</p>\n<p>6.    Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.</p>\n<p>7.    Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.</p>\n<h2>Pay Transparency</h2>\n<p>Mercy Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $18.00 to $26.68.
