You will be part of a team that constructs, manages, and conducts discrete mission engineering and analysis to evaluate the efficacy of legacy architectures and new technologies&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities<em>:&nbsp;</em></strong></p><ul><li>Design, develop, and extend <strong data-start=\"1245\" data-end=\"1288\">AFSIM plugins and simulation frameworks</strong>.</li><li>Build and integrate <strong data-start=\"1335\" data-end=\"1364\">mission-level simulations</strong> for multi-domain operations (air, land, sea, space, cyber).</li><li>Develop, update, and refactor <strong data-start=\"1459\" data-end=\"1486\">SysML-based MBSE models</strong> representing missile performance and system attributes.</li><li>Create <strong data-start=\"1554\" data-end=\"1577\">automated workflows</strong> for generating scalable SysML missile models and libraries.</li><li>Develop <strong data-start=\"1862\" data-end=\"1888\">cloud-native solutions</strong> for migrating legacy M&amp;S tools and processes.</li><li>Use <strong data-start=\"1943\" data-end=\"1985\">CI/CD pipelines (Git, GitLab)</strong> and containerization tools (Docker) to streamline development and deployment.</li><li>Perform <strong data-start=\"2082\" data-end=\"2137\">debugging, performance optimization, and validation</strong> of models and simulations.</li><li>Collaborate with engineers and system architects to ensure seamless <strong data-start=\"2237\" data-end=\"2270\">system-of-systems integration</strong>.</li></ul><p><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in <strong data-start=\"2332\" data-end=\"2443\">Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field</strong>.</li><li><strong>4+ years software development experience</strong> (C++, Python, C#, Java, or MATLAB).</li><li><strong>Experience with AFSIM</strong> framework (mission modeling, simulation scripting, or plugin development).</li><li><strong>Experience with MBSE/SysML</strong> modeling tools (Cameo, MagicDraw, Enterprise Architect).</li><li>Familiarity with <strong data-start=\"2748\" data-end=\"2767\">CI/CD workflows</strong> and <strong data-start=\"2772\" data-end=\"2799\">version control systems</strong> (Git, GitLab, Jenkins).</li><li>Ability to work in <strong data-start=\"2847\" data-end=\"2881\">Windows and Linux environments</strong>.</li><li>Strong debugging, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.</li><li>Active <strong data-start=\"2969\" data-end=\"2989\">Secret Clearance</strong> (ability to obtain <strong data-start=\"3009\" data-end=\"3040\">TS/SCI</strong>).</li><li>U.S. Citizenship required.</li></ul><p>Lacking any one of these disqualifies you from this job.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>MS or PhD</strong> in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.</li><li><strong>8+ years of experience</strong> with AFSIM or other mission-level modeling frameworks (NGTS, ITASE, World Simulation Framework).</li><li>Experience developing <strong data-start=\"3337\" data-end=\"3361\">custom AFSIM plugins</strong>, extensions, or native models.</li><li>Experience with <strong data-start=\"3413\" data-end=\"3443\">cloud-native architectures</strong> and migrating simulation tools into Digital Engineering pipelines.</li><li>Experience with <strong data-start=\"3531\" data-end=\"3566\">object-oriented design patterns</strong> and Agile development.</li><li>Familiarity with <strong data-start=\"3611\" data-end=\"3644\">multi-domain mission modeling</strong> (missile defense, hypersonics, ISR).</li><li>Hands-on experience with <strong data-start=\"3722\" data-end=\"3769\">containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)</strong>.</li><li>Active <strong data-start=\"3782\" data-end=\"3802\">TS/SCI clearance</strong>.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>nou (pronounced &lsquo;new&rsquo;) Systems:</strong></p><p>Since its founding in 2012, nou Systems has built a reputation for excellence in innovative engineering, prototype development, and technical and professional services in multiple markets, including missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, and space control.
