Description $2,000 sign on A nonexempt, float position responsible for providing a combination of clinical and clerical support in Urgent Care and Occupational Health settings across any of our locations, based on operational needs. This role ensures seamless patient care by adapting to various office environments while adhering to Inspira Health's Mission, Vision and Values. The Float Medical Assistant plays a key role in preparing patients for exams, administering medications and vaccines, supporting providers during procedures, collecting specimens, and maintaining accurate patient documentation. The role also includes administrative responsibilities such as scheduling, insurance verification and workplace injury documentation. Education & Experience: High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) required. Medical assistant diploma and certification from an accredited vocational institution or a community college required. Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a Medical Practice preferred. Phlebotomy and EKG experience strongly preferred. Certification/Licensure : Active Medical Assistant Certification or Registry required. Must possess an active AHA Healthcare Provider CPR/ BLS certification.
