Description

Overview The Customer Service & Logistics Representative is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service while coordinating logistics and supply chain operations. This role involves handling customer inquiries, processing orders, managing shipments, and resolving service issues to ensure timely delivery of products. The representative serves as a liaison between customers, the sales team, operations, and logistics partners to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Responsibilities Handle customer calls promptly and consistently. Conduct daily physical inventory checks of all equipment, including stock, staged shipments, and returned rentals. Review daily Geoforce reports and resolve any discrepancies. Document previous night’s shipments and returns using the BASIS system. Record shipments and returns throughout the day using the BASIS system. Obtain signed log sheets or delivery tickets from customer representatives for all units shipped from consignment stock. Ensure accurate customer charge codes are documented on delivery tickets to facilitate timely invoice payments. Support Operations by inspecting incoming equipment for damages and compliance with standards. Identify, remove from service, and coordinate pickup of damaged or non-compliant units. Collaborate with team members to address any quality issues or customer complaints. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, covering one weekend (Thursday evening to the following Thursday morning) every few weeks. Support other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager Qualifications Identify customers’ expectations and requirements to align goals according with contract provisions Previous Experience is a must. Coordinating shipping and receiving materials, supplies and equipment Phone, computer and radio skills a must. Reviews information such as daily record of activities (log), records of materials received and used and reports from various workers. Prepares and type reports.
