The Radiologic Technologist performs conventional radiography for diagnostic and screening purposes across a diverse patient population, including adults and children.</p><p>This role focuses heavily on chest radiography for tuberculosis screening, with additional imaging as clinically indicated. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a structured, secure healthcare environment.</p><hr><p><strong>Schedule</strong></p><p><strong>Full-Time | Night Shift</strong><br>Monday &#8211; Friday<br><strong>11:00 PM &#8211; 7:00 AM</strong></p><p>No weekends<br>Consistent schedule</p><hr><p><strong>Clinical Responsibilities</strong></p><p>The Radiologic Technologist will:</p><ul><li><p>Perform conventional radiographic imaging of head, trunk, and extremities</p></li><li><p>Conduct TB screening chest radiography</p></li><li><p>Adapt positioning techniques to meet patient needs</p></li><li><p>Ensure diagnostic image quality and artifact-free films</p></li><li><p>Notify providers of urgent or significant findings</p></li><li><p>Maintain radiation safety standards and dosimeter compliance</p></li><li><p>Operate and maintain X-ray equipment quality control</p></li><li><p>Log and document imaging accurately</p></li><li><p>Maintain proficiency with electronic health records</p></li><li><p>Support emergency response when needed</p></li><li><p>Perform expanded duties when trained, including:</p><ul><li><p>Vital signs collection</p></li><li><p>CLIA-waived testing (rapid strep, influenza, urinalysis, pregnancy)</p></li></ul></li><li><p>Provide patient education regarding intake and care access</p></li><li><p>Scan and verify medical documentation</p></li><li><p>Participate in safety and quality programs</p></li><li><p>Attend required meetings and training</p></li></ul><p>All services are delivered within Scope of Practice and in compliance with ICE/IHSC policies, HIPAA, and accreditation standards.</p><hr><p><strong>Education &amp; Experience</strong></p><ul><li><p>Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technologist program</p></li><li><p><strong>Minimum 1 year clinical experience</strong></p></li><li><p>Detention/correctional healthcare experience preferred</p></li></ul><hr><p><strong>Licensure &amp; Certifications</strong></p><ul><li><p>Current ARRT certification (required)</p></li><li><p>State license&#160;</p></li><li><p>Current BLS certification (AHA, Red Cross, or ASHI)</p></li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size:x-small\"><em>MDPerm is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
