Join our growing team supporting customer missions as a <strong>Senior Network Engineer</strong> in <strong>Herndon, Virgnia</strong>.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:   </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are actively seeking Network Engineers with a minimum of 16 years' experience.  Bachelor's or Master’s Degrees are preferred in one or more of the disciplines described below where specific skills may include the following…</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience and expertise working with commercial cloud service providers (eg. Google Cloud, Azure, AWS) building out VPCs with Linux VMs, configuring them as network appliances (eg. Linux as a router) and locking them down to meet cyber security standards.</li>\n <li>Experience configuring and hardening Linux OS in both cloud and physical environments.</li>\n <li>Experience configuring and hardening network gear to include firewalls, switches, routers, IPS, etc.</li>\n <li>Experience and expertise working with commercial VPNs</li>\n <li>Experience working with commercial messaging applications (CMA) and Android tablet devices.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently to troubleshoot and resolve issues after hours and on weekends, ie. Call in support.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience and expertise deploying CNGA internet network infrastructure with an thorough understanding of the customers mission</li>\n <li>Working knowledge and expertise using the customer’s core appliances and services to include their networks.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge and experience with the customer’s core networks</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What you can expect from us</h2>\n<p><em>BCore is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
